Our loving husband, father, and grandfather, Max Wayne White, age 95, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 25, 2021. Max was born December 29, 1925 in Lamont, OK to Mike and Myrtle (Leffler) White. He joined the Navy and proudly served his country during WWII. Max worked for the FAA and retired in the early 80's. He met his wife, Janice, through their church, Crown Heights Christian Church. They married on June 16, 1973 and enjoyed 46 wonderful years together. Max was a pilot and had a great love for flying and traveling. They made many trips to Colorado, Florida, and Hawaii. Max was very active at church and enjoyed the friendships he made over the years. He was also able to fix anything and everything, and used those skills at church often. His humor, kindness, and adventurous spirit will be greatly missed by all. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Doris White; 3 brothers; and 2 sisters. He is survived by his wife, Janice White; daughter, Susan White; sons and daughters-in-law, Lee and Janet Ballard, Todd and Becky Ballard; grandchildren, Megan, Zach, and Carson Ballard; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, church family, and friends. To honor Max, donations may be made to Crown Heights Christian Church.
