Dianna Sue Cheesman, 72, of Lafayette, IN, passed away on Thursday, March 25, 2021.

Born on March 16, 1949 in Lafayette, IN, she was the daughter of Helen L. (Ferguson) Maxwell and the late Charles "Sticks" Moore.

In March of 1968, she was married to Ronald Eugene Cheesman Sr, who preceded her in death on January 27, 2007.

For 21 years, Dianna worked in housekeeping with Purdue University. After retiring, she worked as a cashier at the westside WalMart for 10 years.

Dianna was a member of the 40 & 8, the American Legion Auxiliary #492, the VFW #1154 Auxiliary and the Eagles Auxiliary. She carried a special place in her heart for veterans and enjoyed volunteering at the Indiana Veterans Home, especially with Bingo games. Dianna loved her feline companions. She also enjoyed yardwork and traveling.

Surviving with her mother are three children; one half-sister; one half-brother; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to her father and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Charles "Chuck" Moore.
