He was baptized on the 4th February 1794 at Burbage, Leicestershire.
John married Sarah Marler on the 11th June 1818 at Nuneaton, Warwickshire. I haven't found any children from the marriage.
The 1851 Census states that John was a farmer of 151 acres, and employing three labourers. He lived with his wife, Sarah, in Burton Hastings, Warwickshire, they had a housemaid, and a dairymaid.
John died aged 64.
According to the burial register John was buried the day before he died. on the 2nd August, this is obviously a mistake as his headstone and a local newspaper record his death as occurring on the 3rd.
