LILLIAN L. RITZENTHALER
"Lilliian L. Ritzenthaler, 77, Merrimac, passed away suddenly Saturday morning at her home. She was born on Jan.18, 1905, in Washington Township to Charles and Meta (Lehman) Schultz. She was a graduate of the Reedsburg schools, Sauk County Normal School and taught for eight years in Sauk County area schools. She married Arthur L. Ritzenthaler on Nov. 24, 1928, in Rockford, ILL. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church and the Baraboo chapter of AARP.
She is survived by her husband, Arthur, Merrimac; two brothers, Lawrence, Lime Ridge, and Melvin, Reedsburg; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Gilma Schultz, Baraboo; and two nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Our Savior Lutheran Church with the Reverend Raymond Cattou officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in North Freedom. Friends may call from noon until thr time of the service at the church. Arrangements were made by the Hammer Funeral Home. Memorials are preferred and should be given to Our Savior Lutheran Church Building Fund."
