RITZENTHALER, ARTHUR L.

MERRIMAC - Arthur L. Ritzenthaler, age 83, of rural Merrimac, died on Thursday, October 22, 1987, at a Baraboo hospital. He was born on November 5, 1903 on Maple Hill in Sauk County, the son of Fred and Esther (Korb) Ritzerthaler. On November 24, 1928, he married the former Lillian Schultz at Rockford, IL. Art was a member of the Dodge County Antique Power club and a charter member of the Badger Steel and Gas Engine club.
Survivors include several cousins and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his wife on August 21, 1982.
Funeral services were held on Monday, October 26, at the United Methodist church in North Freedom, with Pastor Penny Roth officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Hill cemetery. Friends called from 2-5 P.M. on Sunday at the Hammer Funeral Home, Reedsburg and from 11 A.M. until the time of the service Monday at the church."
