Adam Wayne Ritchie was the son of Oscar Smith Ritchie and Cora Elizabeth Palmer. He married 4 Oct 1919 in Jackson County, Arkansas, Mary Hess. It was not a first marriage for Mary and she brought 3 stepsons into the marriage (Walter Lewis 13, Anderson Lewis 12, Clyde Lewis 10). They are in the 1920 census in Cache, Jackson Co Arkansas. By the 1930 census however the couple have divorced. He is living age 39 as a boarder, farming in Richwoods, Jackson Co. Arkansas. He died as Adam W. Ritchie on June 26, 1933 on the Jackson County index. His mother died just two years later. His father outlived him by a decade.
