Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday. April 4. at Meadowbrook Cemetery by Gene Roden's Sons, Dirctors of Funerals. The family will receive Iriends from 7 p.m. to K p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Watson was born Oct. 4. 1094. in Delta County, a daughter of Henry T. and Mattie E. Meredith Sturdivant. She married George W. Watson on Nov. 30.1912. He died April 6,1943.

She attended Delta county school and was a graduate of Cooper High School and East Texas Slate Teachers College in Commerce.

She and her husband moved to Paris in 1937 and opened the first licensed nursing home in the state. Watson Nursing Home, 130 Church St. Mrs. Watson continued to operate the home until she retired in 1057.

Surviving are a son. Gab Watson of Farmington. N.M.: a daughter. Betty Peace of Denlm; 2U grandchildren, including Bobbie Henry and Pam Woods; 44 great- grandchildren, and six great-great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four children. George W. Watson, Jane Watson Thompson, Milton O. Watson, and Irma Watson Upton.
