Roy Jack Hollstien, 85, of the 2500 block of Bonnie Lane, a native of Nebraska and former neighborhood grocery store operator died Sept 3 in a local hospital after a lengthy illness. Mr. Hollstien, an area resident about 35 years, retired some 20 years ago after operating Hollstien's Grocery on South Sutter Street about 15 years.
Survivors include children, Jack L. Hollstien of Stockton, Jeanette J. Keith of Rancho Murieta, Roy B. Hollstien, San Luis Obispo; a brother and sister in Nebraska and seven grandchildren.
