Mary L. Henderson Marks, 82, of St. Marys passed away Dec. 27, 2006, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.

She was born Jan. 19, 1924, in Perkins, W.Va., a daughter of the late George W. and Mary Elder Henderson. She worked at the Highway Grill, was a foster grandparent at the Colin Anderson Center, made her home with her son Paul and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lehigh Acres, Fla., and attended Cornerstone Gospel Church in Vienna.

She is survived by two sons, Paul A. Marks Jr. and wife, Ginger, of St. Marys and Michael A. Marks of Parkersburg; one son-in-law, Charles D. Hearn of Newport, Ohio; five grandchildren, Paula Marks Lee and husband, Eric, of Charleston, Matthew Marks of St. Marys, David Hearn and wife, Tammy, of Newport, Mindy Justice and husband, Tom, of Belle Valley, Ohio, and Deanna Reed of Coolville, Ohio; and nine great-grandchildren, Caleb, Rachel, Jared and Naomi Lee of Charleston, Alex and Abby Hearn of Newport and Joshua, Jordan, and Jacob Justice of Belle Valley.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul A. Marks Sr.; one daughter, Carolyn Marks Hearn; and two sisters, Claudia Boggs and Vinnie Furr.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with Pastors Mark D. Wilding and Rick Kapple officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home.
