Robert “Robbie” Hitchcock Jr. (63) went to be with his Lord November 13, 2017. Robbie was born November 21, 1953 in West Virginia to the late Robert and Thelma (Polachek) Hitchcock Sr. He grew up in Willard, later moved to the Akron area and then lived in Willoughby for 20 years before returning to the home town that he loved. He enjoyed serving the Lord and attended Willow Praise Assembly of God in Willowick up until his disability. Robbie was an avid sports fan with the Ohio State Buckeyes, NY Yankees and Dallas Cowboys being his favorite teams. He loved the times he had with his family and especially cherished the time spent with his sons. Robbie is survived by his 2 sons, Dane Lenhart of Cleveland and Kyle Hitchcock of Eastlake; sister, Tanya Wright of Willard; brother, Chris (Peggy) Polachek of Willard and sister in law, Esta Polachek of Greenwich along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Gary Polachek. Graveside services will be held at 4:00 PM Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at the Greenwood Cemetery, Willard.
