Fred Herman Hagemann, 81, a lifelong resident of Naperville, died Friday, April 11, 1997, at the Community Convalescent and Rehabilitation Center in Naperville. He was born Dec. 28, 1915, in Naperville. Mr. Hagemann worked as the plant manager of Prince Castle/Cock Robin Ice Cream Company in Naperville from 1937 to 1985. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and served as an usher for many years. He was a member of Moose Lodge Chapter #1290 and a member of the Naperville Noon Lions Club. He enjoyed both square dancing and ballroom dancing. Hobbies included golfing, fishing and bowling. Mr. Hagemann is survived by his wife, Norma (nee Galbrecht), to whom he was married on Oct. 30, 1937; one son, Robert B. (wife Sue) of Lemont; one daughter, Barbara (husband Rodney) Hiltz of Naperville; three brothers, Herman (wife Jean), Walter (wife Bonnie), and Wilbert (wife Ruth), all of Naperville; and one sister-in-law, Hildegarde Hagemann, of Naperville.
