Liz's most recent accomplishment was to be able to move into her own home and live independently the last 2 years with service dog, "Zander" and recent addition, kitten "Missy". Her aides; Tina, Mindy, Kathryn, Ashley, Judy, Tamara, and Michelle through the years were her helpers but quickly became fast friends with Liz, enjoying her quick sense of humor and compassionate heart.
Liz's greatest joy are her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed playing with them and watching them grow up and have one-on-one time with them adventuring and traveling. In her adult years, Liz enjoyed her time volunteering as a docent at Potter Park Zoo, attending LCC, and doing various volunteer jobs at Trinity Church with her many friends.
She will be especially missed by school and childhood friends Billy and Elisabeth.
Liz was survived by two brothers, mother Kimberly (Fox) Peck, father Mark Peck, and grandparents.
Liz was preceded to heaven by Grandma Mildred Peck.
Funeral services will be held Friday, September 21, 1:00 p.m. at Trinity Church, 3355 Dunckel Road, Lansing, MI. The family will receive friends at the church Friday, 11:30 a.m. -1:00 p.m.
