Elder Coyt Anderson had a true passion and love for GOD and Jesus Christ. He was of the Primitive Baptist faith, a member and once pastor of the Welch Cove Primitive Baptist Church located in Bee Cove, Fontana Dam, NC. He was the son of McKinley and Dorothy "Phillips" Anderson of Yellow Creek, The son in law of Joseph and Florence "Gunter" Beasley of Bee Cove and husband of Margie Elizabeth "Beasley" Anderson. He and Margie had 5 children, 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren at the time of his passing. He was a Trail Hiker's best friend, transporting them to their start and picking them up at their ending destinations. He used this time to spread "The Gospel of Jesus Christ" as he did ever chance that he was given. Coyt was well known and loved by "many" young and old alike. He was the rock of the family and is missed still today. If you ever had the chance in meeting or knowing Coyt then you know that you have never met a better man. May he rest in The Lord's perfect peace until His return on that glad day, where we all will be gathered together once again.
