Edwin Griffith Francis
Mrs. Anna E. Francis, 80, died Wednesday afternoon at a local hospital after a long illness.
A lifelong resident of St. Joseph, she made her home at 2135 South 13th street.
She was a member of Mitchell Park Christian Church and South Park Rebecca Lodge No. 730.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Bernice E. Courtney, St. Joseph, Mrs. Geraldine E. Kaster, Harrison, Ark., and Mrs. Lois Easterday, Kansas City, Mo.; one son, Edwin G. Francis, Kansas City, Mo.; a sister, Mrs. Fannie E. Jefford, South Pasadena, Cal.; two nieces, one nephew, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The body is at the Heaton-Bowman mortuary.
