David L. Beals, 75, of rural Michigantown, IN, died on March 15, 2021 unexpectedly at his home. He was born on October 9, 1945 in Hamilton County, IN to John and Evelyn (Shelley) Beals. He married Linda Unroe on June 15, 1974 and she preceded him in death on December 30, 2008.

David was a 1963 graduate of Frankfort High School and a graduate of Indiana Business College. He retired from ADM in Frankfort after working over 40 years. He was a longtime member of the Hope United Methodist Church before becoming a member of St. Matthew United Methodist Church. He was involved in church league softball and longtime member of the Fun Time Band. He was also a longtime Frankfort High School videographer for the boys & girls Hot Dog Basketball teams. David enjoyed fishing, golfing, woodworking, gardening, traveling and loved his dog, Daisy Mae.

He is survived by one daughter; one stepson; one sister; one nephew; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. David was preceded in death by his wife; parents; stepdaughter, Jane Ann Oberhoulser; and two brothers, Robert Beals and James Beals.

Visitation will be from 5:30-8 PM on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral service will be at 10 AM on Friday, March 19, 2021 at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Clinton County Mausoleum in Green Lawn Cemetery.
