World War I Registration Cards #49 (Guadalupe County, Texas) shows Robert Nolan Deviney was 25 years old, living in Martindale, Texas. He was born 19 February 1892 in Staples, Texas. He was a farmer, married and the "only support of family". It also states that Robert Nolan was medium height, medium build, blue eyes and blond hair.

He worked as a Farmer. His wife Luise was 35 years old (she was 21 years when she married) and was born in Texas. Son Dawson was 14 years old, Daughter Luella was 12 years old, Son William was 10 years old, Daughter Mary L. was 6 years old and all the children were born in Texas. Also living with them was Nolan's brother Algie, he was 43 years old, single and worked as a laborer on a farm; and Nolan's mother Elizabeth, she was 82 years old and widowed.

He worked as a Carpenter for Building Construction. His wife Louise, was 47 years old and born in Texas. She is the Proprietor of a Boarding House. Son William was 20 years old and single. He worked as a Cook for a Cafe. Daughter Mary L. was 17 years old and single. Both children were born in Texas. Robert Nolen's brother Algy was living with them. He was 54 years old and single.

Texas Death Certificate #00945 shows that Robert Nolan DeViney died on 6 January 1962 at Mercy Hospital in the City of Brownsville, County of Cameron, Texas. He was 69 years old and married. He was born on 19 February 19, 1892 in Texas. He was a farmer (Retired). His father was Thomas A. DeViney and his mother was Elizabeth Segner. Informant was Dawson DeViney (son).
