Anna Fay Virginia Jenkins, 101, of Hampstead, passed away Monday, March 15, 2021 at Golden Crest Assisted Living in Hampstead.

Born October 13, 1919 in Houcksville, MD, she was the daughter of the late Luther C. Davidson and Lilly Blanche Rupp Davidson.

Prior to retirement, Mrs. Jenkins had been employed at the Hampstead sewing factory and as an assembly line worker for Black & Decker in Hampstead. She was also a beautician, working out of her home in the evenings. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Hampstead. She enjoyed playing bingo. She was the last of her immediate family.

Surviving are her two sons, C. Dennis Jenkins (Mindy) of York, PA and Gary L. Jenkins, Sr. (Susan) of Sarasota, FL; grandsons, Mike Dance (Elaina), Mark Weinman (Sherri), Todd Jenkins, Gary Jenkins, Jr. (Elizabeth), and Tim Orr (Sarah); granddaughters, Cindy Gribbin (Mike), Stephanie Dance, Janet Irwin (Mike), Mary Pierce (Chris), Lauri Jenkins (Mike Lahey), Michele Bonitz (Jay), Christina Robbins (Dave); 26 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter and son-in-law, Lauri and Michael Weinman.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 17, 2021, beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Wesley United Methodist Church, 3239 Carrollton Road, Hampstead with her pastor, the Rev. Amy Sarah Lewis-Rill officiating. Interment will be in Wesley United Methodist Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be sent to Wesley United Methodist Church, 3239 Carrollton Road, Hampstead, MD 21074.
