LADY LAKE, FL - Jeff Burris, Jr., 84, of Lady Lake, FL, died Monday, September 10, 2007 at Villages Hospice House in Lady Lake, FL.
He was born February 19, 1923 in White Hall, IL, the son of Jeff Burris, Sr. and Eva Burris. His parents, one brother, one sister, and one niece, preceded him in death.
Mr. Burris retired as a bookkeeper from Sentinel Insect Control Lab. He was a member of Community United Methodist Church of Fruitland Park, FL. He served in the U.S. Army Air Force from 1942 to 1946.
Survivors: wife of 61 years, Winona; one daughter, Beth Ann Taylor of Peoria; one son, Roger Burris of Tulsa, OK; one granddaughter; three grandsons; two step-grandsons; four great-grandchildren; one niece; and two nephews.
