Jon was born 26 Oct 1948 to Walter E (aka Esmond Walter) Boggs and Delores Jean Raines in Eugene, Oregon. They were living at Wendling, Lane Co., Oregon at the time. Jon was an award-winning musician in high school, and lived his entire life within 10 miles of his birth home, except for his 3 years in Germany while in the Army. He worked for 32 yrs for Lane County. He married Darlene Curtis (Stucky) 19 Jun 1976 and had one daughter, Jennifer Jean, an adopted stepson and 2 stepdaughters. He was grandfather of 3 and great grandfather of 5.
Jon loved hunting, fishing and camping more than anything other than his family, and after her retired would spend as much time out in his RV as possible.
