Lizella, Ga. – Funeral services for James Otis Tidwell, 35, were held Sunday in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Burial was in the church cemetery with military graveside rites.
Tidwell was a native of Albany, Ga., and was retired from Civil Service employment at Warner Robins Air Material Area. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Church and a veteran of the Korean conflict.
Survivors include his wife of Lizella, the former Miss Patricia Ann Cox of Alexandria, La.; a son, Ken Tidwell of Lizella; two daughters, Kim and Kathy Tidwell of Lizella; two sisters, Mrs. Billie Lee Thigpen and Mrs. Avalene Payne of Macon, Ga., and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Otis F. Tidwell of Lizella.
