Funeral services, celebrating the life of Kenneth Edward Boone, 90, of Thornville, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 in the chapel of the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service. Burial with full military honors by the Licking Co. Veterans Alliance will follow in the Lutheran Cemetery, Linnville Pike, where he will be buried next to his wife Katherine.

Kenneth died Thursday, March 4, 2021 in Newark following a brief illness. He was born in Harrison Co. W.V., the son of the late Denver and Floda Belle (Illison) Boone. He served honorably in the US Army during the Korean conflict, and retired after 34 years at Kaiser Aluminum.
He enjoyed playing cards, throwing dice and above all fishing. He also enjoyed planting and caring for a large garden every summer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Katherine, his sister Joyce McClain, his infant granddaughter Katherine Darlene Boone and her mother Darlene Back Boone and his grandson Ryan Boone.
