Heman F. Robinson

Herman was the son of Major General (1812) , David Robinson and Mrs. Sarah Fay Robinson.

Husband of Betsey Wadsworth, married 1810, dau of Hon. Joseph Wadsworth and Mary Perry of Pittstown, Massachusetts.

Heman F. Robinson was a "town law agent", 1831-1832, and a surveyor of highways, 1817-1829. (Historical Sketches of Buildings in Old Bennington).

Heman was active in county and city activities and businesses. In 1830, he was appointed Chairman of the committee to appoint delegates to represent Bennington County at the Republican State Convention, and was a delegate.

In 1829 and 1831, he is a member of the Bennington Academy Committee. Also he is an agent for the "Vermont Gazette" in 1830. They had 10 children.
