Mrs. Herring was born in Jennings County Nov. 18, 1892, the daughter of Daniel and Catherine Byron Molony. She was married to Raymond Herring, who preceded her in death in February of 1979. She was a retired school teacher.
Sh is survived by one sister, Margaret Burnett, Toledo, Ohio, and a nephew of this area, John Biddinger, of Westport.
The services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in North Vernon, with burial in Bear Creek Cemetery, near the Decatur county line on SR 3. Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Diekhoff and Vance Funeral Home in North Vernon, where a rosary will be hard at 8 p.m. Wednesday.
