"Nicholas P. Eipers, 78, of Aurora, died Friday in Hines Veterans Hospital. He was born July 26, 1898, in Lemont, ILL. Mr. Eipers was a member and past commander of Barracks 698 Veterans of World War I and was a member of the American Legion Post 84. Surviving are his widow, Margie A. (Shoger); two brothers, Bud and Matt Eipers of Aurora; and a sister, Mrs. Mary Reed of Rhinelander, Wis. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements are being made by the Daleiden Mortuary where visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday."
