William David Linder age 67 of Smithville, passed away Friday morning March 12, 2021 at his sisters home in Smithville.

He was born April 30, 1953 to his parents, the late George Dalton and Gladys Raynell Ashburn Linder.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Bryon Scott Linder; brother, Dalton Lee Linder and sister, Reba Nell Linder.

David was a heavy equipment operator, worked at DTC for several years and worked at many other places in his lifetime and he attended Indian Creek Baptist Church.

David leaves to cherish his memory 2 daughters, Jennifer Linder and fiance, Josh Bain and Tami Vanatta both of Smithville; son, Scottie Linder and fiance, Brandy Perry of Smithville; 3 sisters, Patricia Linder, Debra Anderson and Linda (George) Bibby all of Smithville; grandchildren, Braxton Linder, Logan Smith, Teka Linder, Brandon Linder, Ethan White, Elijah White, Brayden Nicholas, Tristen Vanatta, and Trevor Lance; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be 1:PM Monday, March 15, 2021 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Michael Hale officiating and burial will follow in Precious Memories Cemetery in Smithville.
