Charles was the son of Wade Marvin Nash and India Jane Wagner. He married Blanche Whitt. Charles was an employee of Pocahontas Fuel and Consolidated Coal (1920-1956), working as paymaster at Amonate. He owned the remnant of the Joseph Moore farm which he bought from Blanche Helms and Jettie Walker about 1936. This property went to Charles E. Nash Jr. and Nancy A. Nash by his will.
