Mrs. Bonnema passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at Haven Home in Mentor. She was born May 8, 1922, in Willoughby. She was a lifelong Mentor resident.
Mrs. Bonnema was an owner and bookkeeper for A.J. Parker Plumbing and Heating. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and a member of Mentor United Methodist Church where she was active in the Couples Club and Altar Guild. She was a past member of Grand River Yacht Club. She enjoyed her home in Florida with her husband, Paul, for many years. She also enjoyed being with family.
Survivors include her daughters, Sandra Caplinger of Painesville and Pamela (Paul) Jacobs of Jefferson; 7 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; sister, Doris Martin; and many nieces and nephews and their families.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul A., in 1998; son, David M. Bonnema; son-in-law, Tyrrell Caplinger; and sister, Beatrice Jones.
