Albert Herman Bailey, 78, of Inman, Kansas, passed away March 9, 2021 at Pleasant View Home, Inman. He was born November 20, 1942 in Kingman, Kansas, the son of Herman and Grace Robey Bailey. Albert resided in rural Inman since 1975, formerly of Hutchinson. He graduated from Kingman High School, Kingman, Kansas, with the class of 1961. Albert served in the United States Army from September 8, 1961 until August 31, 1964. He worked at the Packaging Corporation of America, Hutchinson, later known as Republic Group and Sonoco Hutchinson Paper Mill from 1966 until his retirement in 2003. Albert enjoyed riding his motorcycle and bicycle. On April 17, 1965, Albert was united in marriage with Carole Ann Crist in Little River, Kansas. She preceded him in death on February 13, 2015. He is also preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Delbert Bailey, Dixie Chronister, and David Bailey. Albert is survived by his two children, Barry Bailey of Overland Park, KS and Deborah Rush of Broken Arrow, OK. Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, March 13, 2021 at the Congregational Church, Little River, with Pastor Ted Weis officiating. Burial will follow at Bean Memorial Cemetery with military honors by Ft. Riley Honor Guard. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 7:00 P.M., Friday, March 12, 2021 at Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons with family present from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Memorials may be given to Congregational Church, Little River, in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
