Vernon Henry McNeil, 85, a retired foreman of Gaddis Farms, died of heart failure Friday at his home. Services are 3 p.m. Sunday at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home with burial in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mr. McNeil was a Neshoba County native and a lifelong resident of the Raymond area. He was a former nurseryman for McNair Peach Farm. He was known for his hobby of refinishing antique furniture. He was a member of Salem Baptist Church.
Survivors include: wife, Quinnie; son, Vernon Carroll McNeil of Raymond; daughters, Mavis Lucille Cousino of Houston, Texas, and Barbara Ann Eley of Raymond; and three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
