Rufus G. "Harvey" Crain was born to Andrew Jackson Crain and Narcissa Dill Crain. He was married to Georgia A. Bryson, and they had the following children:

My grandma had fond memories of going to Uncle Harvey's farm.

OBIT:

R. G. Crain passed away at his home Sept. 2 at the age of 67 years. He was buried in the Eaton Cemetery Sunday afternoon, the services taking place fromt the Baptist Church. Mr. Crain had been farming in the Eaton country for the past 18 years, coming here from Young Harris, Georgia. Mr. Crain leaves a widow and six children to mourn his loss. The children are C. Y. Crain of Galeton, J. E. Crain of Briggsdale, T. G. Crain of Ault, Mrs. John Dyer of Caldwell, Idaho, Mrs. M. Carder of Caldwell, Idaho, and Mrs. H. E. Guilford of Briggsdale. Besides the family many friends in this section regret his taking away.
