SUNRISE, Fla. - Lawrence W. Branscome, 90, of Sunrise, formerly of Kilsyth, W.Va., died April 9, 1998, in a Sunrise hospital after a long illness.
He was born in Mount Hope, W.Va. He was a retired miner with 71 years' service and member of River Side Christian Fellowship, Coral, Fla., and UMW.
Surviving: daughters, Wanda Humphrey of Sunrise, Norma McGraw of Coconut Creek; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Calfee Cemetery, Mount Tabor, with Darrell "Budgie" Williams officiating. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope.
