YATSKY – Shawn Michael Sr., 40, South Fork, died February 16, 2020, at home. Born December 13, 1979, in Johnstown, son of Theresa D. (Minor), widow of Andrew G. Paulson Jr. and Harry Paul, married to Sue (Killinger) Yatsky.

Preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Thomas Minor; and paternal grandparents, George and Frances M. (Roddy) Yatsky.

Survived by parents; maternal grandmother, Marie Minor; wife, Lina Marie (Garcia) Yatsky; sons, Michael, Shawn Jr., and Brandon; siblings, Jennifer, wife of Brad Long; Paul, married to Michelle (Dively); Christopher; twin brother, Corey, engaged to Amanda (Stein) Fyock; and Kasey Yatsky; also numerous beloved aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, and cousins.

Shawn was a graduate of Greater Johnstown Vo-Tech, class of 1998. He was a US Navy veteran having served with the Naval Construction Force (SeaBees) during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was a skilled welder and worked for East Coast Construction. Shawn had a charismatic smile and enjoyed spending time with family; especially his beloved sons.

Friends will be received from 2 p.m. until time of service at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork, Father Robert Reese presiding.
