Ed sold real estate in Marion and Hartford City. He then worked at and retired from Thomson Consumer Electronics and RCA.
Survivors include his wife Carol Jean Duke, Jonesboro, sons, Charles E. (Misty) Duke, Warren, Michael E. (Shelly) Duke, Jonesboro, daughters, Marilyn Monk, Comanche, Texas, Brenda Duke, Angela Cruea, Jonesboro; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Bill (Wilma) Duke, Portland, Neal (Frances) Duke, Pennville, Herschel (Jo) Duke, Pennville, Tom (Joanne) Duke, Montpelier.
