Funeral services for Loretta Faye Alwert, 85 of Enid, will be Monday, March 8, 2021 at 2:00 pm in Redeemer Lutheran Church with Reverend Dwayne Schroeder officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery .

Loretta was born on December 7, 1935 in Dustin, Oklahoma to Taylor and Dollie (King) Fife and died on March 4, 2021 in Bentonville, Arkansas.

She went to Graham Grade School and graduated from Chilocco Indian School. Loretta received an associates degree in business from Haskell Institute. On April 25, 1959, she married Robert Alwert in Enid, where they made their home. Loretta was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, where she was an active volunteer. She was a member of Enid Intertribal Club, Native American Education, ABWA. Loretta volunteered at NODA, meals on wheels, Methodist Home Devotion, and various other organizations.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Alwert, daughter Laura Alwert, parents, Taylor and Dollie Fife, sister, Helen Jojola, Betty Mouser, Geraldine Wolf nephew, John Wolf.

Loretta is survived by her children and their spouses, Melony and Stacey Wolfe and Canuky and Melissa Alwert; 8 grandchildren and five great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
