Martha W. "Mattie" Cordell was married to Henry D. Seay on 19 Apr 1883 in Bibb County, Georgia. They had five, possible six, children - Martha D (born ~1887 in GA), Ora B (born ~1892 in GA), Bessie (this might be Ora B however more research needs to be done; she is Mrs. Bessie Beverly in her mom's obituary), Lillian (~1895 in GA - 1907 in FL; also buried in Evergreen Cemetery (FG memorial 104526671), William R (born ~1898 in GA; marries a lady named Emma before the 1910 US census) and Emma F. (1902 in FL - 1962 in IN; marries Samuel Toelbe in 1919; in 1962 she is the wife of a Fred Goss)

Mattie was second married to Edward Culshaw. He dies sometime between the publishing of the 1914 and 1915 Jacksonville Florida city directories. Mattie's death certificate erroneously records she is the widow of a Henry Culshaw; she is the widow of Henry Seay and Edward Culshaw.
