Marvin Ray Lamberth Sr, 86, passed away April 11 at Akron City Hospital after a lingering illness.
Mr Lamberth was born in Cullman, Ala in 1900, and made his home in Akron in 1926. He worked for B F Goodrich Tire & Rubber Co 44 years and retired in 1965.
He is survived by his wife, Marguerite; son and daughter-in-law, Marvin R Jr and Lucey of Garfield, Ark; son, David of Akron; daughters and sons-in-law, Wanda and Paul Bellamy of Copley, Mary and Arthur Zepnak of Omaha, Neb; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and sister, Mrs Birda Chambers of Cullman, Ala.
Funeral services Wednesday, 11 am, at Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Funeral Home, 95 W Waterloo Rd, Rev Michael Freeman officiating. Friends may call today, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm, at the funeral home. Interment Greenlawn Memorial Park.
