MADISON - Henry Allegrezza, 87, a retired farmer, died of heart failure Monday at his home.
Services are 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church with burial in Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. today with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Nowell-Flippin Funeral Home in Ridgeland.
Mr. Allegrezza, a Shaw native, lived and farmed there 58 years. He moved to Clinton in 1965 and worked with his sons 24 years in the moving business. He retired in 1984 and moved to Madison in 1989. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus when he lived in Shaw. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and a former 24 year member of Holy Savior Catholic Church in Clinton.
Survivors include: wife, Mary; daughter, Theresa Allegrezza Noble of Canton; sons, Jimmy Allegrezza and Cecil Allegrezza, both of Jackson and John Allegrezza of Canton; brothers, Johnny Allegrezza and Alex Allegrezza, both of Shaw; sisters, Sarah Love and Angie Rutledge, both of Greenville, and Susie Fava of Alligator; and 16 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
