Th funeral of George M. Clifford, 34, who died on Tuesday at the Franklin County Public hospital, was held from the home of his father-in-law, Wm. Ost of Mechanic street Thursday afternoon and was private. Mr. Clifford was born in New York city, where most of his life was spent, save a few months that he lived in Springfield. he is survived by his widow, whose maiden name was Doris E. Ost, of this village. Rev. H. L. Packard officiated at the funeral and the burial was in Arms cemetery.
