Charles 'Webb' Eason MARION
Charles Webster Eason, 99, of Marion passed away at 7:45 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 1, 2004, at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2004, at Blue Funeral Home in Marion, with Dr. Bob Wagner officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2004, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oddfellows Cemetery in Marion. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital. Envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent in care of Blue Funeral Home, P.O. Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Mr. Eason was born on Nov. 27, 1904, in Williamson County, to Abner T. and Cora (Mosley) Eason. He married Ann Shreve in September 1933 in Anna. She preceded him in death in September 1975. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Shirley Eason of the Lake of Egypt; grandchildren, Gayla Jo East, Kimberly Ann and Wynn Rust, and Michael Eason; great grandchildren, Jeffrey East, Lauren East, Erik Rust, Rachel Rust, Rebekah Rust, and Sarah Rust; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; one brother and seven sisters. Mr. Eason was a member of Second Baptist Church in Marion. He loved children and for . several years he worked in the nursery at Second Baptist. He was formerly worked in the grocery business.
