On Saturday last, Mr. Valentine, who lives on the Magaw farm on the south line of Ninnescah, tried to stop a team that was running away from his son, and was knocked down, the wheel passing over his body, breaking several ribs, and otherwise injuring him. He suffered greatly, and died on Christmas night about 8 o'clock. He was buried Thursday afternoon at the Vernon Cemetery. Mr. V. was about 68 years old.
