GARLAND – David T. Gordon, 89, died peacefully February 27, 2021. He was born November 6, 1931 in Dexter a son of Leo and Edith (Jaquith) Gordon. He graduated from N. H. Fay High School, Class of 1951, and entered the U. S. Air Force during the Korean War. He received an honorable discharge in 1955.

After the war, David worked for Wirthmore Stores, and later Davis Supply in Corinna where he retired after 40 years. He was a life member of the Shirley B. Carter VFW. He enjoyed hunting at the log cabin camp in Ripley that he, his wife and children built themselves. David and wife Mona also built their home on the Dover Road where they resided all 62 years of their marriage. David enjoyed supporting his children and grandchildren in their many sporting events throughout the years. David and Mona are long time members of the New Hope Baptist Church in Dexter.

He is survived by his loving wife, Ramona (Provost) Gordon of Garland; his children, Laurie Gordon Fogarty and husband John of Dexter, Alan and wife Lisa Gordon of Presque Isle; grandchildren, Meagan Fogarty Pritchard and husband Edwin of Scarborough, Devin Fogarty and wife Dorie of Maine, Trevor Fogarty and fiancée Dana Webber of Dexter, Joshua Gordon of Pittsfield, MA; and a great granddaughter Ella Pritchard.

David was predeceased by siblings, Alfred, Ernest, Earl, Dorothy, John, Fred, Donald, Frank, and Marjorie.

A military graveside memorial service will be announced at a later date at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter, with the Rev. Andrew Spohrer officiating. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Dexter.
