William Denis Fugazy, Chairman of the Board of Fugazy International, passed peacefully on Dec.31st at his home. He was 91 years old. Fugazy was married for 58 years to his beloved wife, the former Joan Marie Boggiano, until her passing in 2005.
Fugazy is survived by his children William Jr., John, Daria, and Roy; grandchildren Taryn, Ashley, Dayna, Patrick, Matthew, Gianni, Catie, Nicholas, Caitlyn, William III, Rory, Jenna, Alexandra, and Scarlett; great-grandchildren John. Robert, Tyler, Sebastian, Henry, and Dempsey Joan; Daughters-in-law Sandy, Cathy, and Dana and sister Mildred Fugazy, a Holy Sister of Charity. He is predeceased by his wife Joan Marie, daughter Denise, brother Louis, and son-in-law Donald Patrick Scanlon Jr.
A private family Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Gregory's in Harrison, where he resided for 46 years. Internment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY.
