age 58, of Cedar Bluff, Virginia, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2010. Born January 30, 1952 in Letcher County, Kentucky he was the son of Loretta Fields) Nease of Baptist Valley, Virginia and the late Joseph Nease. Charlie's greatest love was his grandchildren. He loved working on old cars and was the owner of Charlie's Body Shop. He was a friend to all who knew him. He loved animals and loved to cook.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by one son, Jerome Nease.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife of 27 years, Dora (Hicks) Nease; one son, Anthony Nease and wife, Amy of Richlands, VA; two daughters, Jessica Blankenship and husband, Todd of Johnson City, TN and Leann Coleman and husband, Shane of Cedar Bluff, VA; three brothers, Ray Nease and wife, Barbara of Baptist Valley, VA; Ken Nease and wife, Sue of Abingdon, VA; and Gary Nease and wife, Rhonda of Baptist Valley, VA; one sister, Sharon Nease of Pounding Mill, VA; four grandchildren, Evan Blankenship, Emma Coleman, Savannah Coleman and Ava Blankenship; mother-in-law, Etta Hicks of Vale, NC; several nieces and nephews.
A remembrance service will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Sunday, February 14, 2010 at the home.
