On May 21, 1957, she was united in marriage to Mason Lee Thomason and to this union four sons and two daughters were born.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Victor Lee Thomason and Thomas Dean Thomason; and four brothers, Freeman Cook, James Cook, Samuel Cook, and Clinton Cook.
Alice is survived by her loving husband of fifty years, Mason, of the home; four children, Janice Thomason, of Fordland, Missouri, James Thomason, of Strafford, Missouri, Victor "Billy" Thomason and his wife, Tina, of Marshfield, Missouri, and Laura Hampton, and her husband, Paul, of Fordland, Missouri: eight grandchildren, Keely, Joshua, Kari, Ethan, Amanda, Abby, Cleo, and Shelby; one brother, Tim Cook, and his wife, Marjorie, of Rogersville, Missouri; five sisters, Edith Childress, of Seymour, Missouri, Verda Morris, of Springfield, Missouri, Treba Bouldin, of Fordland, Missouri, Betty Ashley, of Marshfield, Missouri, and Joy Hume, and her husband, Bob, of Seymour, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and many friends.
She was born and raised in the Seymour area and graduated from Seymour High School in the Class of 1957. After she and Mason were married, they lived in several different locations while he served with the United States Air Force. In l977 they moved to the Marshfield area to make their home.
Alice had accepted Christ as her Savior and was a member of the Harvestime Tabernacle Church in Marshfield. She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Genealogical Society in Wright and Webster Counties. In her spare time she enjoyed spending time with her family and doing genealogy.
Alice was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and will cherish the wonderful memories she created for her family and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 20, 2007, in the Gentry Cemetery, north of Diggins, Missouri. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 7 - 8:00 p.m. under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Seymour, Missouri.
