A. T. McKelvey's Centennial History of Belmont County (1903) claims that she is "the first white child born in Belmont County" (p. 642, col. 1). Married in Belmont County on 4 July 1815 to Robert Gray according to Benjamin Tappan, Cases Decided in the Court of Common Pleases in the Fifth Circuit of the State of Ohio (1899), p. 38.
