She married Charles Furnell of Vermont. The lived in Warren Co., Iowa during the 1960 census (there is also a two year old: Sarah A. Shockley). Amanda died after the 1910 census, being a widow most of that time. She had three children, and was suvived by daughter, Alice Baker-Fear, among others. The 1900 census indicates a birth of March 1840 in Indiana.
