Amanda J. Sheets, age 46, of Crystal, passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Sparrow Carson Hospital.
Mandy loved history and knowing where she was from. One of her favorite hobbies was researching not only her genealogy, but helping others find their loved ones in various cemeteries in the area. She also enjoyed hanging out with her family and friends and was never one to turn down an opportunity to sing karaoke.
Mandy is survived by her father and stepmother, Vic & Karen Sheets of Crystal; daughter, Shelby (Michael) Shonce of Walled Lake; son, Nate (Ann) Jones of Stanton; granddaughter, Sage Jones; sisters, Tara Mills of DeWitt; Mindi Murra of St. Louis; brother, Jeremy (Laura) Sheets of Mt. Pleasant; special aunt and uncle, Pat Stowell and Tom Birch of Crystal; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mandy was preceded in death by her mom, Jane Sheets; grandparents, Paul & Jean Sheets and Lester & Betty Stowell; and her significant other, Karry Otto.
A celebration of Mandy’s life is being planned for a later date this year. Mandy will be laid to rest next to her mom in Crystal Cemetery.
