BOBBIE'S OBITUARY
Bobbie Nell Harris King, age 69, made her transition from this life on Friday, February 19, 2021 at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge. She was a native of Utica, MS, and a former resident of Marrero, LA and Toledo, OH. Bobbie was a 1969 graduate of Lincoln High School. She continued her studies at Southern University A&M College graduating in 1974 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. Bobbie received a Master’s Degree in Education and a Certification in Administration and Supervision from the University of Toledo. She was a retired employee of the Toledo Public School System and was employed with Lucas County Juvenile Detention Center, until she relocated to Baton Rouge, LA. Daughter of the late Edward, Sr. and Madie Harris. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Little Zion Baptist Church of Baton Rouge and neighboring churches are invited to attend a Public Viewing at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 4pm-6pm. Graveside Service will be held on Friday, February 26, 2021 at Restlawn Park Cemetery, 3450 Hwy 90 W Avondale, LA at 11:00a.m. Pastor Marcus Jackson, officiating Visitation will begin at 10:30a.m until service time.
