Mrs. Gertrude Peeples
Services for Mrs. Gertrude Austin Peeples were held at Pine Bluff Church Feb. 15th, at 10 a.m. and conducted by Rev. John A. Sutphin, Methodist mininster of Kilmichael, with interment in church cemetery with Lee Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. She died Feb. 14 at her home.
Mrs. Peeple was was the daughter of the late Berry and Jane Nations Austin, who were among the early settlers of Montgomery Co.
She is survived by her husband, O.H. Peeples; one sister, Mrs. Ella Greenlee, of Memphis,; and two brothers, Edd Austin, Winona and Leo Austin of Vaiden.
