Mrs. M. L. Yeater Dies This Morning; Services Monday

Mrs. Merrill Yeater, 57, RD 4, Ashland, died at Samaritan Hospital early Saturday morning of a heart ailment.

She was born in Green Township in Ashland County, Aug. 25, 1899, the daughter of Barton J. and Mary Maffett. She was a lifelong resident of Ashland Country. She married April 17, 1917 to Merrill L. Yeater who survives.

She is also survived by two daughters, Marjorie, at home and Mrs. Robert Sprague, Ashland, three sisters, Mrs. Laura Helbert, Loudonville, Mrs. Nannie Derrenberger, Loudonville, and Mrs. Pearl Etzwiler, Ashland; and three grandchildren.

Mrs. Yeater was a member of the Stone Lutheran Church, an active member of the Ladies Bible Class and the Missionary Society of the Church and a member of the Ashland County Democratic Women's Club.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Albert E. Myers officiating. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the services.

Burial will be in the Twin Cemetery on Route 511.

Friends may call at the Denbow Funeral Home Sunday evening from 7 to 9.
